We met on October 27th, 2009 when Justin's volleyball team needed a female player for their indoor league. We became fast friends, enjoying each other's sense of humor and having fun playing together. Late the following summer, volleyball brought us back together when Jeff Orosz put together a team of four to play in a tournament. From then on, we kept in touch via the occasional group happy hour and flirty emails before going on our first date on December 1st, 2010. We met at Toast Wine Bar and bonded over our love for Italy, red wine, and trying to outdo the other in movie quotes.

One of our favorite weekend activities is walking over the Stone Arch Bridge on Saturday mornings to the Mill City Farmers Market. The market is on the footpath next to Mill City Museum. We loved the area and memories we have there so much we decided to get married there! If you have time Saturday before the wedding, please stop by the farmer's market from 8:00 – 1:00 for breakfast or brunch. Our favorite food truck is The Chef Shack, you will not be disappointed!

We were lucky enough to take an amazing trip to Italy this fall. We flew into Rome and immediately cruised up to Tuscany where we ate and drank our way through beautiful Tuscan towns. We saw incredible sights and loved the Italian people met. The highlight of our trip was when we visited Montalcino. On October 20th, while visiting a Brunello Vineyard named Le Potazzine, we got engaged under the brilliant Italian sunshine among the grape vines. It was perfect in every way.

In late November we started off on a new adventure to the west coast. Justin accepted a job working for Microsoft in Seattle. We have embraced the Northwest by eating fresh fish from the market, shucking oysters at home, snowshoeing, wine tasting in Woodinville, and taking in the beautiful views of Puget Sound and the mountains. While we miss friends and family, we are having a blast exploring all that our new city has to offer and love visitors if anyone wants to explore with us!

cami doman

My sister Cami and I are similar in many ways. We look alike, love the same sports, and have even run a few races together. The main difference is that Cami is much smarter, more athletic, funnier, and all around cooler than I could ever hope to be ☺ She is an amazing sister and maid of honor and I am so proud of all she has accomplished.

My sister Nikki and I have grown up together and have become amazing friends. When living in Minneapolis, I had the pleasure of working with her, playing volleyball twice a week with her, and spending time with her and her husband Jake. She is unstoppably generous and is the matron of honor extraordinaire.

Annie is my sister who officially joined our family in 2010 when she married my brother Matt. She is incredibly kind and I could not be happier to have her as my sister. As an added bonus, she has mad skills on the volleyball court, which Justin and I have taken advantage of by asking her to play on our team! She and Matt have also given me the greatest gift of being an Auntie to their sons Cashton and Tucker.

Bethany has been my best friend since our teenage years growing up in Sartell. She knows all there is to know about me and has laughed, cried, and loved along my side when I needed her most. She also happens to be one of the funniest people on the planet and Justin and I love spending time with her and her husband Kris.

Erin and I had the greatest luck and were randomly assigned as roommates in the dorms at UW Madison. We loved each other so much, we remained roommates through college and after until she married her husband Tom (they met at our family's cabin!). She is as sweet as a person can be and I am so fortunate to have her as a friend!

Jason Crest

Jason and I met in college. He's been a great friend throughout the years. He's been to almost every MelvaritaFest and my parents practically consider him one of the family. I feel lucky to have him as my friend.

Jeff Orosz

Jeff and I have shared a lot of good times together. Weather it was hours and hours of beach volleyball, cocktails at Imperial Room, or hanging out at Lake Calhoun, Jeff was there. He's one of the best friends a guy could have.

David Vennie

Vennie and I met in uptown in 2008 and my liver hasn't been the same since. Eventhough he now lives in Houston, I can count on him to provide bad decisions when we get together.

Dave Buye

You can count on Dave having a drink in his hand and a smile on his face. After college we lived together in uptown. I think we both secretly miss that dungeon of an apartment and all the good times we had in it. We were always there for the other when the 2am cravings for McDonalds kicked in.

Alex Melvin

My younger brother Alex and I are more alike than most people think. We don't get to see each other as much as I would like, but when we do we geek-out and share laughs. He's a very smart guy and I'm excited to see what his future holds.
